Report: Mayor says Moscow doesn’t cancel programs despite problems

MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- Moscow has not cancelled its programs despite the problems, the city will become even stronger, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in an interview with TVTs television channel late on Wednesday.

“We have chosen a strategy of development of the city, we are implementing the systemic projects and do not plan to cancel them despite any problems or sanctions or difficulties… Moscow will become even stronger after all of that,” he said.

Sobyanin is sure that the city’s economy will get over and said that currently there is no fall in the turnover or production figures.

Prices for most goods have started to decrease, which marks stabilization of the economy, and no deficit in any type of goods has been registered, he also said.
